Anyone who thinks Blood Meridian is unfilmable has obviously forgotten about or not seen Nick Cave’s The Proposition. Such a gorgeous, brilliant film.
Posting this as a small example of why I’ll always adore Roger Ebert. The film he reviews here is irrelevant.
